Which Documents Demanded?
West Africa is a very large and developing market for Turkish exporters. However, West African countries require ECTN/BSC/ENS certificates for West African export shipments. These certificates are summarized as; It is known as electronic cargo tracking number. They are electronic documents prepared specifically for each load. It is requested by the authorities of these countries to record the trade made to African countries.
How Important Are These Documents?
These certificates are required for smooth customs clearance of the cargo upon arrival of the cargo. This document is mandatory for West African countries. Otherwise, the cargo cannot be towed at the unloading port and may cause serious costs. The certificate must be prepared and approved before the arrival of the cargo.
